From Irish suburbs to the Big Apple! Maritza, a Massachusetts native, is a NYC based actor and dog parent.

Maritza started acting at the age of 11 (sort of) by being forced to audition for The Music Man in 6th grade. After a very successful audition, they were not cast in the show but did join the hair and make-up crew instead. Humbled at a young age, Maritza embraced theatre and then truly started their acting journey later that summer. They continued to audition for more shows and participated in drama club, on and off stage, all through middle school and high school. They later received a BFA in Acting at Salem State University.

When not performing on a stage Maritza genuinely enjoys ”the classic actor jobs" like being a bartender, performing at events, or attempting to win the train game against the MTA. They also loudly advocate grief & mental health and are a professional host of karaoke, burlesque, and variety shows. But more on that later...
